Mysuru: The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), has organised a two-day International Conference on ‘Advances in Mechanical Engineering and Management’ (ICAMEM – 2019) from Mar.22 at 9.30 am at its T & P Seminar Hall in Gokulam III Stage.

Dr. Sarit K. Das, Director, IIT Ropar, Punjab, will be the chief guest and deliver the keynote address on the inaugural day.

Dr. T. Sundararajan, Professor, IIT Madras, will be the chief guest at the valedictory.

P. Vishwanath, Hon. Secretary, Vidyavardhaka Sangha and Srishaila Ramannavar, Hon. Treasurer will be the guests of honour. Gundappa Gowda, Hon. President, will preside.

Dr. G.V. Naveen Prakash will chair the conference while Dr. G.B. Krishnappa and Dr. L.J. Sudev will be the co-chairs.

Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, Dr. K.B. Vinay, Organising Secretary, Dr. S.A. Mohan Krishna and Prof. C.S. Thamme Gowda, Organising Joint Secretaries, will be present on both days of the conference.
