SVG Vishwaprajna PU College, Dattagalli: The College Council members were officially handed over their duties at the Investiture Ceremony held at the College premises recently. Dr. C.P. Krishna Kumar, a well-known littérateur, was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Council included Sanjana V. Shakhapur, President, Raghav Deekshith, Secretary, Bharani Sanjay, Student Cultural Minister, Bhavish Chengappa, Student Discipline Minister, Hima Prasad, Student Sports Minister, D.R. Rakshitha, Student Health Minister, C. Akash, Student Welfare Minister for Boys and B.B. Manisha, Student Welfare Minister for Girls. They took their oath and received their badges and sashes.
College Chairman and Managing Trustee Vishwanath Sheshachala, Vice-Chairman S. Manohar, Vishwaprajna Educational Institutions President M.N. Mahendra, Administrative Officer Dr. Kempegowda, Dean Dr. Mohana Kumara and Principal Rachan Appanamaiah were present in the occasion.
Earlier, Fresher’s Day was organised to the new students of the College. Mamatha (II PU Science) hosted the programme. T.N. Greeshma (II PU Commerce) welcomed the gathering. Dr. Mohana Kumara introduced the chief guest. Sowmya Naik, HoD, English Department, hosted the Investiture Ceremony and felicitation for toppers and J. Ananya (II PU Science) proposed a vote of thanks.
