IOB employees’ nationwide strike on Feb. 2 and 3

Mysore/Mysuru: Seeking fulfilment of its various demands, the All India Overseas Bank Employees Union (AIOBEU), affiliated to National Confederation of Bank Employees (NCBE), has called for a 2-day nationwide strike of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) employees on Feb. 2 and 3.

The demands include putting an end to unilateral and uncontrolled QR code based individual assessment system and filling up of a high number of clerical posts that have remained vacant for long.

They are also seeking jobs for family members of deceased employees on compassionate grounds, among others. For details, contact  Mob: 94450-92969, according to a press release.
