Mysore/Mysuru: Close on the heels of the arrest of Bollywood actor Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan Durrani by Oshiwara Police in Mumbai on Feb. 7, an Iranian student in Mysuru has accused Durrani of sexually assaulting and cheating her.
It may be recalled that Oshiwara Police had arrested Durrani on the basis of a complaint lodged by Rakhi under IPC sections-406 (Criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating).
Following the fresh charges made by Iranian woman in Mysuru, Durrani, who also hails from Mysuru, has been booked under IPC Sections 376 (Sexual Assault), 417 (Cheating), 420 (Cheating and Dishonestly Inducing Delivery of Property), 504 (Insult) and 506 (Criminal Intimidation) by V.V. Puram Police in city.
In her complaint to V.V. Puram Police, lodged on Feb. 10 at 9.30 pm, the 30-year-old Iran native victim has alleged that “I came to Mysuru five years ago in the year 2018 to study Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) at a college here. Adil Khan Durrani befriended me at a food joint on Kalidasa Road before falling in love with me. Later we started living together at an apartment in Yadavgiri. Durrani, who promised to marry me, sexually abused me later.”
