ISKCON arranges food for flood victims

Kushalnagar: ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) distributed food to the victims put up at the Sai Layout. The food was prepared at Vasavi Convention Hall and distributed in  three vans.

Social worker Addangada Harish Thammaiah working with ISKCON, speaking to Star of Mysore, said that if they were informed, they were ready to supply food to anyone in need of it where the vehicles can reach the victims.

Hundreds of people have lost their houses in Kodagu. In the future they need to rebuild the houses and funds are required for the exercise. Those interested may donate funds to the flood-affected victims, said Thammaiah.
