ISKCON to conduct Culture Camp

Mysuru – ISKCON at Jayanagar, Mysuru, will hold a unique summer programme for children that will help them rediscover their rich cultural heritage and systematically understand the teachings of Bhagavadgita.

Designed with different types of activities and games, ISKCON intends to have a 3-week camp for students of class 4 to 8 starting from April 18 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm.  The batch will conclude on May 14 with talents day function.

Students will learn the principles of Bhagavadgita, japa-meditation and bhajans.  The camp will also teach the students to memorise the verses of Bhagavadgita, to understand the philosophy of the Gita in a simple way and helps students to build character on a concrete foundation.

In addition, the students can choose to learn art from variegated exciting modules like Drama & Painting. Gita course, a module designed for all students, exclusively aims to instill moral principles to the younger generation through the teachings of Vedic literatures.
