ISKCON to conduct Culture Camp for Kids

Mysuru: ISKCON at Jayanagar, Mysuru, will be holding a unique Summer Programme for children. A programme that will help them rediscover their rich cultural heritage and understand the teachings of Bhagavad Gita.

Designed with different types of activities and games,  ISKCON intends to have a 3 week Culture Camp for students of Class 3 to 8 from April 11 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm.  The batch will conclude on May 6 with talents day.

Students will learn the principles of Bhagavad Gita, Japa-meditation and Bhajans.  The camp will also teach the students to memorise verses of Bhagavad Gita, to understand the philosophy of the Gita in a simple way and helps students to build character on a concrete foundation.

In addition, the students can choose to learn art from variegated exciting modules like drama  and painting. Gita course, a module designed for all students, exclusively aims to instill moral principles to the younger generation through the teachings of Vedic literatures.
