Mysuru: Jaanaprashne, a popular science book by Mysuru-based writer Kollegala Sharma, has been selected for Na. D’Souza Children’s Book Award. The award is given every year by the Karnataka Sangha, Shivamogga, for the best children’s book published in Kannada.

Jaanaprashne, a book providing scientific answers to some of the routine puzzles in daily life, was published by Vigyan Prasar, New Delhi.

The award will be presented at a function to be held in Shivamogga on Nov. 26.
