August 2, 2019

Mysuru: Sri Chandra Prabhachandra Sagarji from Baroda, a disciple of Munishri Ajitchandra Sagarji, will perform ‘Maha Sathavadhana’ at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama on Nanjangud Road here on Aug. 18.

The event, to be held from 8.30 am under the aegis of Shree Saraswati Sadhana Research Foundation, has been organised by Shree Sumatinath Jain Swetambar Moorthypujak Sangha and Maha Sathavadhan Samithi.

The 22-year-old Monk had performed ‘Shathavadhana’ in Mumbai at Shri Shanmukhananda Hall on Sept. 14, 2014, when he was just 17-years-old.

Profile: Munishri Chandra Prabhachandra Sagarji was born in Baroda on Apr. 1, 1997 to Vipulbhai and Kuntalben and is their only child gifted with a sharp intellect and fiery thinking power. He studied in a convent up to 8th std.during which he experienced a very strong desire to understand and achieve the unseen, the invisible atmatatva and came in contact with Mahashatavadhani Munishri Ajitchandra Sagarji, who was the disciple of Naychandra Sagar Surishwarji Maharaj.

At the age of 13, he gave up the attachment with his family and his studies too. After taking permission from his family, he went to stay with his respected Gurudev and at the age of 15 he resolved to live the disciplined life. He thus came to be known as Muniraj Chandra Prabhachandra.

After adopting the disciplined way of life, through ceaseless practice of knowledge-dhyana-swadhyay-saadhana, he had in several ways, experienced his Atma and also could achieve mastery over a Siddhi of the level of Shatavdhan.
