As part of Mahavir Janma Kalyanak 2017, Mahaveer International Royals, a non-religious service organisation, had organised ‘Jain’s Rising Stars,’ a talent hunt programme to identify young talents of Jain community at Mahaveer Bhavan in city recently.
More than 100 talented kids in the age group of 7 to 18 years, participated in the audition in which they gave performances such as dancing, singing, musical instruments, acting and stand-up-comedy.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of Mahaveer International Royals Hitesh Jain gave the message of unity in diversity and briefed the audience about the organisation’s motto ‘Love All Serve All.’
Kailashji Bhora, President of Sri Stanakvasi Jain Sangh addressed the gathering and administered oath to members.
Sampathraj Kotari, who was the guest of honour, said that participation of youth in society was very important for the development and growth of any organisation.
Praveen Jain, President of Sri Sumatinath Jain Navyuvak Mandal, said that the Jain community has a lot of talent and a platform like this would help in identifying and nurturing their talents.
Project Directors Praveen Jain and Ritesh Gulecha also spoke and briefed about the event.
Following the audition, a total of 45 kids were selected for the next round which will be held on Apr. 2 at Sri Terapant Bhavan.
Mahavir International Royals have also organised a grand cultural evening on Apr. 9 at Kalamandira.
