Janata Jaladhare Ratha passes through city

Mysore/Mysuru: The Janata Jaladhare Ratha launched by the JD(S) to press for implementation of all key Water Projects in the State, was flagged off today near Ganapathy temple in Yelwal on Hunsur Road by JD(S) MLA S.R. Mahesh after performing puja. Accompanied by over 600 bikes, the rally reached Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa Circle at the junction of JLB Road and Hunsur Road where it was received by hundreds of party workers.

Later, it passed through Ramaswamy Circle, Chamaraja Double Road, Gun House, B.N. Road and Fountain Circle to reach Kalastavadi on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road. Later the rally entered Mandya District.

MLC C.N. Manjegowda, District JD(S) President Nara-simhaswamy, ex-Mayor R. Lingappa, Corporataors Prema Shankaregowda, Ramesh, K.V. Sridhar, M.D. Nagaraj and SBM Manju and others took part.

ACP (Traffic) S.E. Gangadharaswamy had made elaborate security arrangements for the smooth passage of Jaladhare rally.
