Jatha and balloon unveiling to create voter awareness

In order to create awareness on importance of voting, a balloon related to Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) will be unveiled near Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Palace North Gate, today (Apr. 16) at 6 pm. Also, a jatha (rally), comprising around 600-800 officials and staff, will be taken out from the venue.

The rally will pass through K.R. Circle, Sayyaji Rao Road, Ayurveda Circle, Irwin Road, Post Office Circle, Ashoka Road and culminate at the starting point. DC and District Electoral Officer Dr. K.V. Rajendra, City Police Commissioner B. Ramesh, ZP CEO and Mysuru SVEEP Committee Chairperson K.M. Gayathri and SP Seema Latkar will take part.
