Jayadeva Heart Hospital to be shifted to new premises by July end

Mysuru:  Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research, which is functioning in K.R. Hospital, will be shifted to its new building on KRS Road in city by this month (July) end.

The new building has facilities such as full-fledged Operation Theatres for open heart surgeries, Intensive Care Units (ICUs), laboratories, Post Operation Wards, In-Patient Wards with hi-tech equipment.

This apart, the new building will also house Out-Patient Department facilities such as X-Ray, Treadmill Test, elevators, parking space and kitchen, for which the construction works and installation of equipment are going on in full pace.

A total of 20 doctors, including 11 Cardiologists, three Anesthesiologists, six MBBS doctors and technical and non-technical staff will been deployed.

Director of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & Research Dr. C.N. Manjunath had inspected the new premises about a week ago and has given instructions to shift to the new premises either by this month end or by the first week of August.
