St. Joseph’s Central School, Yelwal, hosted Jo Cup 2023, an Inter-School Sports Tournament that included Football, Basketball and Throwball recently.

The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Vijay Kumar, Secretary & Correspondent of the Mysore Diocesan Educational Society and the chief guest, avid cricketer Vishnu Priyan, in the presence of MDES Administrator Rev. Fr. Avinash, CEO Joyce Lobo, Principal Sylvia Albuquerque and other Heads of sister concerns.

Winners of the sports event are as follows: Throwball: Excel Public School – Winners; St. Francis School – Runners; Football: Excel Public School – Winners; De Paul International School – Runners; Basketball (Girls): DAV School – Winners; Excel Public School – Runners; Basketball (Boys): JSS Public School, J.P. Nagar – Winners; Excel Public School – Runners.

The Overall Championship went to Excel Public School.
