‘My Job’ app launched in city

Mysuru: The growing unemployment and job losses is a cause for grave concern in the country. To fight this trend, the Karnataka Vedike has come out with creative solutions by launching ‘My Job,’ mobile App, on Friday at   Pathrakartara Bhavan here.

Speaking after the launch, Vedike leader Somashekar Chalya said that detailed information regarding job opportunities and job vacancies is available on this App. This app is very safe, secure and user-friendly. The unemployment rate is increasing in the State and leaders at the Centre and in the State before holding the reins of power promised jobs to the youths of the country.

However, the promises made have remained empty. In this background, ‘My Job’ app has been released for the benefit of both the unemployed and the jobless, he said.

This app has not only information about jobs vacant in Government Departments but also wherever there are jobs available in the State, how to apply for jobs and other information relating to it, he said.

The app also has other uses. If the people are facing workplace harassments from their bosses or if the contract, daily wage labourers, and those drawing scholarships are facing problems, then they can give a missed call to mobile No. 82872-14422 and the Vedike Members will take up the cause, said Chalya. There is Youth Conference being held on Feb. 4, 2018 in Bengaluru and the youth can register their names for the event, he said.

Vedike Secretary T.K. Harshakumar, Guruprasad, Pushpalatha, L.K. Divya and Santosh were present during the press meet.
