Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the birthday celebration of Chamaraja Congress MLA K. Harishgowda, a Mega Udyoga Mela (Job Fair) and free health check-up camp have been organised at J.K. Grounds in the city on July 24 at 9.30 am.
Announcing this at a press meet here on Thursday, Indira Gandhi Block Congress President Ravi Manchegowdanakoppal said that more than 70 top companies are expected to take part in the Job Mela.
Pointing out that unemployed youths in the age group of 18 to 35 years and with qualifications ranging from SSLC to Post-Graduate degree, can attend the Mela either directly or through registration along with their academic and other necessary records, he called upon the youths to make use of this opportunity and get suitably employed.
Stating that more than 40 Hospitals are taking part in the free health check-up camp, Ravi said that the camp also features voluntary blood donation.
Also, sewing machines (for women), push carts and Ayurvedic medicinal plants will be distributed to beneficiaries on the occasion, he added.
