Mysore/Mysuru: The Times Higher Education (THE), a Global Ranking Agency, has released World University Rankings 2022 which includes more than 1,600 Universities across 99 countries and territories, making it the largest and most diverse University rankings to date.
JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, is ranked in the band of 351 – 400 by Time Higher Education in the global rankings 2022.
JSS AHER is in the top three institutions in India among the 72 Universities across the country that participated in the rankings. Now, JSS AHER becomes the second in India after IISc., Bengaluru and IIT, Ropar and first in Karnataka to be ranked at this global ranking system.
The ranking methodology assessed the institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
JSS AHER is amongst the top 8 of the world and number 1 in India for the citations generated from its publications. It stands at number four in India for International outlook.
There are only three Institutions from India that are in top 500 and JSS AHER is one them. No other Deemed University or Private or Government University other than the National Institutes are in the top 500, according to a press release from the Registrar, JSS AHER.
