JSS AHER, Mysuru signs Value Partnership Agreement

Mysore/Mysuru: A Value Partnership Agreement (VPA) was signed between the JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., USA and Global Value Web, Netherlands recently to embed the patient medical knowledge, medical, technical and research experience to efficiently contribute to Real-World Data (RWD) for Real-World Evidence (RWE) generation enabling effective secondary research.

The objectives of the agreement include developing a project that acts as a pathfinder for an evidence-based therapeutic approach in India, considering the primary therapeutic focus area as COVID-19 and to establish OHDSI (Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics) India Chapter, which is a multi-stakeholder, interdisciplinary collaborative programme to bring out the value of health data through large-scale analytics.

JSS AHER, Mysuru has always forayed itself into newer and advanced areas in its pursuit of excellence. It has embarked on a journey of advancing the healthcare and diagnostics by application of Artificial Intelligence (AI). With this collaboration, JSS AHER aims to promote the use of real-world patient data and evidence-based therapy in India for better healthcare outcomes.
