Mysuru, Oct. 23- JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, entered into a collaboration with Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai (VITC), by signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Board Room, JSS Medical College, Mysuru, recently. The partnership aims to promote joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programmes, innovation-driven collaborations and capacity-building efforts in emerging areas of healthcare technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), biomedical innovation and interdisciplinary education.
In his opening remarks, Dr. B. Suresh, Pro-Chancellor, JSS AHER, emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts to achieve greater outcomes.
Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa, Vice- Chancellor, JSS AHER, highlighted the significance of the collaboration in strengthening institutional capabilities and global outreach. Representing VIT Chennai, Dr. T. Thyagarajan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, emphasised VIT’s commitment to advancing joint innovations and translational research. He was accompanied by Dr. R. Ganesan, Deputy Director, Career Development Centre; Dr. M. Suchetha, Director, Centre for Healthcare Advancement Innovation and Research and Dr. S. Shridevi, Deputy Director, Centre for Neuroinformatics. Dr. Vishal Kumar Gupta, Dean (Academics), JSS AHER, welcomed. Dr. Prashant M. Viswanath, Dean (Research), JSS AHER, proposed the vote of thanks.
