Mysore/Mysuru: The Post- Graduate (PG) students of Department of Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, JSS Dental College and Hospital, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, have won laurels in the National Convention organised by Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry at Saveetha Dental College & Hospital, Chennai, recently.
Nine PG students won awards in various categories. Dr. Sreejeeta Dey guided by Dr. Seema Deshmukh was selected for the award category in the paper presentation.
In the scientific poster category, first-year PG students Dr. Saisaumya Tiwari, Dr. Shruti Shukla and Dr. L.V. Aarthi were awarded first, second and third prizes respectively. They were guided by Dr. Raghavendra Shanbhog, Dr. B. Nandlal and Dr. Seema Deshmukh respectively.
Second-year PG students Dr. Gunica Harjai guided by Dr. Raghavendra Shanbhog and Dr. S.D. Suman guided by Dr. Seema Deshmukh were awarded first and second prizes respectively in the scientific paper presentation category.
Third-year PG students Dr. Arundhati Banerjee guided by Dr. Seema Deshmukh, Dr. Namratha guided by Dr. M.S. and Dr. K.P. Ashwini guided by Dr. Raghavendra Shanbhog received 3rd prize in the scientific oral presentation category.
