Mysore/Mysuru: JSS Polytechnic, Mysuru, recently celebrated NSS Day.

Punith Kumar, NSS Programme Officer, Maharaja Institute of Technology Tandavapura (MITT), who was the chief guest, spoke about the ‘History of NSS (National Service Scheme)’.

Another chief guest Ramachandra Bhatt, Head Master of Sadvidya High School, spoke on ‘Value-Based Education.’

The celebration was presided over by Principal Dr. K.S. Bhaktavatsala.

B. Ashwini (NSS Programme Officer) and B. Manju (Co-Programme Officer) organised the event, attended by staff and NSS volunteers.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of essay writing competition held as part of NSS Day.
