JSSPDA chess players shine

Mysore/Mysuru: The specially abled students of JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled (JSSPDA), Mysuru, have excelled in the 17th Karnataka State Chess Championship of the Deaf organised by Karnataka Sports Federation of the Deaf at Doddapete in Kadur from last month.

Six hearing impaired (Deaf) students from JSSPDA represented Mysuru district in the Championship and the Mysuru team won the title.

Rekha, IV Sem CS, won 2nd Rank,  S. Jeevan, VI Sem E&C, won 3rd Rank and Katre Yash Bhojaraj, VI Sem CS, won 6th Rank in individual competition.
