K. Chandrashekar Hegde (84), proprietor of Hotel Santhosh and a resident of Yadavagiri, passed away this morning at a hospital in city following brief illness.
A recipient of ‘Athithya Ratna’ award given by Karnataka Pradesh Hotel and Restaurant Owners Association (KPHRA) in 2018, he leaves behind his wife, sons K.C. Vijay Kumar and K.C. Prasad, daughters Uma and Manjula and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed this afternoon at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam here, according to family sources.
