Mysuru: K.P. Basavegowda (93), retired Professor of Maharani’s College and a recipient of ‘Chunchashri’ award, passed away yesterday in city.
A resident of Gokulam, he leaves behind one son, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Chikkakereyuru village in H.D. Kote taluk this afternoon.
