K.R.Pet Taluk Mysuru Residents Welfare Association inauguration

Mysuru: The newly-formed K.R.Pet Taluk Mysuru Residents Welfare Association will be inaugurated by former Assembly Speaker Krishna on Mar.10 at 3 pm at a function to be held at Platinum Jubilee Auditorium in J.K. Grounds in city.

President of the Association D.R. Venkatesh said that Kengeri Vishwa Vokkaligara Mahasamsthan Mutt’s Sri Kumara Chandrashekharanatha Swamiji, Adichunchanagiri Mysuru Branch Mutt’s Sri Someshwaranatha Swamiji, Kaginele Kanaka Gurupeetha’s Mysuru Branch Mutt Seer Sri Shivanandapuri Swamiji and Balehonnur Khasa Branch Mutt’s Gangadhara Shivacharya Swamiji will grace the occasion.

District Minister G.T. Devegowda, Minor Irrigation Minister C.S. Puttaraju and K.R. Pet MLA K.C. Narayanagowda will be felicitated on the occasion.  

A book on ‘Mailaralingeshwara Nataka’ penned by H.V.Ganesh will be released by MLA L. Nagendra. D.R. Venkatesh will preside.

The Association plans to organise health check-up camps at various villages of K.R. Pet taluk and Mysuru; to open public library; to promote art, culture, literary activities, national integration and other services to the public.

Office-bearers of the Association H.V. Ganesh, K.T. Chandregowda, C. Cheluvegowda, H.S. Balaram and others were present at the press meet.
