K.V. Thimmashetty (81), a retired BSNL Divisional Engineer and a resident of Kumbarakoppal in city, passed away here on Monday.

He leaves behind his wife Sannamma, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Kumbarakoppal burial grounds this noon, according to family sources.
