Kageri of BJP scores victory with the biggest margin in State

Mysore/Mysuru: Uttara Kannada BJP candidate Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri created a record of sorts in the State, by winning 2024 LS polls by biggest margin in Karnataka. Kageri defeated his nearest rival Anjali Nimbalkar of Congress by a huge margin of 3,37,428 votes.

At the same time, Prabha Mallikarjun of Congress, who won from Davangere, recorded the lowest margin of victory in the State (just 26,094 votes against her BJP rival   Gayatri Siddeshwar).
