Mysore/Mysuru: Vaidyavartha Prakashana, Mysuru, has organised a programme at The Institution of Engineers (IE) Auditorium on JLB Road in city at 11 am on Feb. 5 for the release of the book ‘Kaggataleya Khandadalli’ authored by Dr. Arkalgud Neelakanta Murthy.

The book, which is written in Kannada language, is about the author’s experience in Africa where he served as a doctor for 13 years.

The 218-page book will also include insights about countries suffocating administration, people’s unscientific practices and beliefs.

Former University of Mysore (UoM) Vice-Chancellor Prof.  K.S. Rangappa will inaugurate the programme while Department of Public Libraries Director Dr. Sathishkumar S. Hosamani will release the book.

Ursu Mandali President H.M.T. Lingaraje Urs will preside. Retired CFTRI Scientist Kollegal Sharma and Chutuku Yugacharya Dr. M.G.R. Urs will speak on the book. Anveshana Seva Trust Founder President Amarnath Raje Urs will be the chief guest. Author Dr. Neelakanta Murthy will be present.
