Nanjangud: Kailasamurthy (84), a resident of Tayur village in the taluk, passed away yesterday.
Brother of pro Kannada activist Tayur Vittalamurthy, he leaves behind his wife Hemavathi, two sons, a daughter, two brothers and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Tayur this noon, according to family sources.
