‘Kalasa’ falls on head: Temple authorities come forward to help injured woman

Mysuru – The authorities of Sri Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud have come forward to help the woman who was injured when the ‘Kalasa’ of Sri Nanjundeshwara chariot which got tangled to the decorative serial lights fell on her head Sunday night in Nanjangud. Following the publication of the news item, Sri Srikanteshwara Temple Executive Officer Jayaprakash yesterday visited JSS Hospital and enquired the health of Sarvamangala, the injured woman, who is undergoing treatment there.

After collecting the information about the incident, Jayaprakash said that the cost of the treatment would be borne                 by the Government.

Speaking to SOM, the Executive Officer said that he met the injured woman and enquired about her condition and added that all help would be provided for the treatment. He also said that he would conduct an enquiry about the incident.
