Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the 10th Nirantara Kalemane Utsava, Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru, will present Kalemane Awards to Senior Gurus in the field of Bharathanatya on June 25 at 4.30 pm at Kalemane Sabhaangana in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage here.
Corporator Prema Shankare-gowda will be the chief guest.
Kalemane Awards will be conferred on Guru Vidushi Seetha Guruprasad, Director, Bharathanjali Naatya Shaale, Bengaluru; Guru Dr. Malini Ravishankar, Director, Lasya Vardhana Trust, Bengaluru; Guru Vidushi Padma Hemanth, Director, Sangeeth Nritya Bharathi Academy, Bengaluru and Guru Vidushi Varija Nalige, Director, Nandana Performing Arts Centre Trust, Mysuru, for their work in the field of Bharathanatya.
This will be followed by Bharathanatya performances by the students of Gurus who have been conferred Kalemane Award.
‘Shri Gurubhyo Namah’ thematic presentation by disciples of Guru Vidushi Seetha Guruprasad; ‘Sankya Samagama’ by disciples of Guru Dr. Malini Ravishankar; ‘Nritya Sambhrama’ by disciples of Guru Vidushi Padma Hemanth and Bharathantya by disciples of Guru Vidushi Varija Nalige.
