Kallumadanda Ponnappa (Ponnu), who was residing at Kuvempunagar in city and later residing with his son at Ammathi in Kodagu, passed away yesterday morning at Ammathi. He was 71. He was a native of Bengoor village, Cherambane in Kodagu.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, daughter-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Bengoor village yesterday evening, according to family sources.
