Melukote: Kamalamami (54), mother of journalist Sowmya Santhanam, passed away yesterday in the town.
She leaves behind two sons, one daughter, son-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Aghalaya village in K.R. Pet taluk this morning.
