The 85th Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana will be held from Feb.5 to 7 next at the Kalaburagi University campus. The decision was taken at a meeting held yesterday in Kalaburagi chaired by Kannada Sahitya Parishat State President Dr. Manu Baligar in the presence of DC B. Sharath. Manu Baligar said that the Sammelana scheduled to have been held in North Karnataka in December had been postponed to February next in the context of the recent floods in that region. After 1987, Kalaburagi will be hosting the Sammelana after a gap of 32 years.
