To take scientific facts to people,  Mysuru Vijnana Trust, in association with various organisations, has organised Kannada Science Theatre Festival at RamaGovinda Rangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar from July 15 to 17. Announcing this at a press meet here at Pathrakartara Bhavan yesterday, Trust President Shashidhar Dongre said that in association with Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM), 2-day special training was organised for writers to write Science Dramas.

July 15: Kalasuruchi team will present ‘Lelavati’ written by Indian Mathematician Bhaskaracharya (also known as Bhaskara ll).

July 16: Bombe Mane team will present a play based on Albert Einstein’s life.

July 17: Arivu Academic and Cultural Team will present play on the life and achievements of Nobel Laureate Muhammad   Abdus Salam.

Science writer Nagesh Hegde will inaugurate the Theatre Festival. Vijnana Prasar Chief Scientist Dr. T.V. Venkateshwaran will be the chief guest, Dongre added. Kollegala Sharma, Dr. M.C. Manohar and Madhava Khare were present during the press meet.
