Following release of 50,000 cusecs of water yesterday and 46,783 cusecs today from the Kabini Dam in H.D. Kote, the water level in Kapila River at Nanjangud has risen significantly submerging the Hadinaaru Kaalu Mantapa. Also, as water level has increased compared to yesterday’s level, water is reaching the Government School on Chamarajanagar Bypass Road forcing the school authorities to shift the students to the adjacent building.
