Dr. Bellipadi Satish Rai, President, Bellipadi Yaksha Samskrutika Vedike, is seen lighting the lamp to inaugurate ‘Karavali Kaushala-2017,’ a two-day Yakshagana programme at Jaganmohan Palace auditorium in city yesterday. It was organised by Karavali Kalaniketana, in association with Kalasandesha Pratishtana and Brahmavidya. Music Scholar Dr. R.S. Nandakumar, Fine Arts College-Mysuru Principal Vidu. Prof. Sheela Sridhar and others are seen. Yakshagana ‘Moha Menake’ was presented by Mantapa Prabhakara Upadhya and troupe following the inauguration. Today at 5.45 pm, Sri Chamundeshwari Krupa Poshita Yakshagana Mandali of Mysuru will present ‘Mahishamardhini – Devi Mahatme’ directed by K. Krishnakumaracharya.
