Karnatak vocal concert at Ganabharathi tomorrow

Mysuru: Ganabharathi,  Mysuru, has organised a grand Karnatak vocal concert by Vid. Dr. R. K. Padmanabha on May 9 at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar here.

He will be accompanied by Vid. J.K. Sridhar on violin, Vid. C. Cheluvaraj on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on ghata.

A Stalwart and a Nadopasaka, Ganakalabhushana Vidwan Dr. Rudrapatna  Krishnadikshita  Padmanabha (RKP), who traces his roots back to the town of Rudrapatna, undoubtedly has emerged as one of the most sought after musicians today.

Having blessed by the great Vadiraja Swami (pontiff of Sonda Mutt), he stands as a musician with a unique identity. His vibrant and mesmerising voice, unrivalled rendition of ragas, krithis, pallavis and swara sancharas add to the beauty of his music.
