Mysore/Mysuru: KMPK Charitable Trust in association with Prani Pakshigala Samrakshana Samithi felicitated Karnataka Prani Kalyana Mandali Zonal President Dr. S. Krishna Mittal at Maharaja’s Grounds in city yesterday.
The programme was held as part of KMPK Charitable Trust’s ‘Prani Pakshi Seva Jagruthi,’ a campaign to feed stray dogs in city during the current lockdown period. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Krishna Mittal lauded the efforts of the Trust and urged the public to join hands with the Trust.
Addressing the gathering, Zoo Authority of Karnataka (ZAK) Chairman L.R. Mahadevaswamy said, “After the recent appeal made by cine actor Darshan Thoogudeepa on behalf of Zoo Authority of Karnataka, hundreds of donors have come forward to adopt Zoo animals. In a similar manner, MCC must implement an action plan to feed and take care of stray animals in every area of the city.”
KMPK Charitable Trust President Vikram Iyengar, MUDA Member Lakshmidevi, Mysuru City Bharatiya Janata Party Backward Classes Morcha President Jogi Manju, Jeevadhara Girish, Krishnarajendra Co-operative Bank Vice-President Basavaraj Basappa, NR Constituency BJP Yuva Morcha President Lohit, leaders Rakesh Kunchatiga and others were present.
