The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports has invited applications from sports patrons to confer Karnataka Sports Patron Award for the year 2020-21. Sports patrons who have made a notable contribution to sports activities in the national and international level from the past five years are eligible to apply. Eligible men and women sports patrons may submit the duly filled application forms at Office of Assistant Director, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports before Sept. 19. Applicants should also submit Police verification certificate authenticating that no criminal case has been registered against them.
