Karnataka team emerged champions in Sanda category at the South Zone Khelo India Wushu Women League held at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (TN), in January this year. The team won two silver and 10 bronze medals in Taolu followed by seven gold, two silver and 10 bronze medals in Sanda. The team was coached by U. Darshan of Mysuru.
