Mysuru: Kautilya Vidyalaya is celebrating its 14th Annual Day ‘Kautilya Sadagara’ at Kalamandira on Dec.22 at 3 pm. IGP Vipul Kumar will inaugurate the programme. Bhamy V. Shenoy of Mysore Grahakara Parishat and his wife will be the guests of honour. Chairman R. Raghu will preside.
The celebrations include ‘Ajjanondige Hejje-Ajjiyondige Gejje,’ felicitation to meritorious students and achievers.
On the occasion, the Vidyalaya will confer ‘Kautilya Ratna Award’ on four teachers M.A. Geetha, Charulatha, V. Shalini and N. Seethalakshmi for their valuable contribution to the growth of the institution along with a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and a citation.
RK Vidyashala College Day
Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala has organised its 66th College Day at its premises in Yadavagiri at 5 pm tomorrow (Dec.22). Anil Swarup, CEO, State Development Council, Government of Jharkhand, will be the chief guest. Swami Atmajnananda, President of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, will preside.
The students will stage the Kannada play ‘Satyameva Jayate’ on the occasion. Prior to the programme, there will be an exhibition of Science, Humanities and Computer projects in the Knowledge Park, Fine Arts and Philately in the Auditorium Foyer and book display in the library from 9.30 am to 11.45 am.
