A few days back I had applied for a Marriage Certificate through Kaveri Online Services https://kaveri.karnataka.gov.in. The application process is very simple and user-friendly.
We have to register first, fill the marriage details, bridegroom’s and bride’s details, witness details. Then we have to upload all the relevant documents. The application and Certificate fee is very nominal.
In just 3 days I got the Certificate. Thanks to the Sub-Registrar Office (South) for acting swiftly to issue the same.
Apart from marriage registration, there are other services like document registration, Encumbrance Certificate (online EC), Certified Copy (online CC) etc., available in the website of Kaveri Online Services.
Sitting at home people can make use of these Services and get the Certificate without visiting the Sub-Registrar Office to apply or to know the status of the application.
Kudos to the citizens online services offered by the Government of Karnataka.
