Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants, who broke into a house at Muniswamynagar in city, have decamped with gold ornaments from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of KEB Engineer T.P. Shashikumar on Ramabainagar Road at Muniswamynagar.

As Shashikumar’s brother had taken ill, he, along with his mother, left for Bengaluru on Nov. 7.

On Nov. 13 morning, Shashikumar’s neighbour called him over the phone and informed him that the door of his (Shashikumar) house was open.

Shashikumar, who returned, saw the lock of the door broken and on entering inside the house, he found the lock of the cupboard broken and 35 grams gold ornaments kept in it missing.

A case has been registered at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station in this regard.
