Kempachar Kupya (73), senior littérateur and a resident of Sharadadevinagar, passed away yesterday following age related ailments.
A native of Kuppya village in T. Narasipur taluk, Kempachar has authored many books in Kannada. He leaves behind his wife Meenakshi, son Chandrakanth and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed this morning at Kupya village.
