Keremane National Award for Ninasam and Thimmanna Yaji

Honnavar:  Nilakanteshwara Natya Seva Sangha (Ninasam) of Heggodu in Sagar taluk of Shivamogga district has been selected for the ‘Keremane  Shivaram Hegde National Award’. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.

Keremane  Sri Idagunji Mahaganapati Yakshagana Mandali is organising ‘Keremane Shambhu Hegde National Natyotsava’ for the 10th year from Feb. 2 to 6 and the award for Ninasam will be presented on Feb. 2.

‘Keremane Gajanana Hegde National Award’ will be conferred on Thimmanna Yaji Mannige, a renowned Yakshagana artiste from Honnavar on Feb. 6. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 and a citation.
