‘Kesavananda Bharathi Judgement upon Constitutional Jurisprudence’: National Seminar at Vidya Vikas Institute on Dec. 2

Mysore/Mysuru: A one-day National Seminar on ‘Significance, Content and Impact of Kesavananda Bharathi Judgement upon the Constitutional Jurisprudence: A Golden Jubilee Assessment’ has been organised at Lalitha Smaraka Bhavana in Vidya Vikas Educational Trust (VVET) campus, Mysuru, on Dec. 2 at 10.30 am.

The Seminar is organised under the aegis of Karnataka Institute for Law and Parliamentary Reform (KILPAR), Bengaluru, in collaboration with Organising Committee Golden Jubilee Celebration of KeshavanandaBharathi Judgement – Edneer Mutt and VVET – VidyaVikasInstitute of Legal Studies (VVILS), Mysuru.

Sri SachidanandaSwamiji of Edneer Mutt, Kasaragod, Kerala (Successor of KeshavanandaBharathi), will grace the occasion. Justice S.R. Bannurmath, Chairman, Law Commission of Karnataka, Bengaluru, will inaugurate. Justice Krishna S. Dixit, Judge, High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru, will deliver the keynote address. K. DwaraknathBabu, Director, KILPAR, Bengaluru, will preside.

Vasu, Chairman, VVET, V. Kaveesh Gowda, Secretary, VVET, Prof. (Dr.) P. Ishwara Bhat, former Vice-Chancellor, KSLU and Legal Education Advisor, VVILS and Dr.RevaiahOdeyar, Research Head, KILPAR, Bengaluru, will be the guests of honour.

Prof. C.S. Patil, former Professor, KSLU and Research Professor, KILPAR and Prof. P. Ishwara Bhat, former Vice-Chancellor, KSLU andLegal Education Advisor,VVILS, Mysuru, will be the resource persons.

Dr. M.N. Sanjith, Principal (in-Charge), VVILS, Musuru, is the IQAC Chairperson.
