Mysuru:  Khadi Village Industries Commission Chairman Vinai Kumar Saxena said that the economic thought and Gramodyog’s ideals of Mahatma Gandhi is very relevant to today’s youth.

He was speaking after inaugurating Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan outlet on New Kantharaj Urs Road near Ballal Circle (Ashoka Circle), which was set up with the economic assistance of Khadi Gramodyog Commission and Khadi Gramodyog Sangha, Annapu Tiptur, here recently.

On the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government has given more assistance to Khadi Gramodyog industries to encourage its growth, he said and called upon those involved in it to utilise it properly for its development.

Saxena was felicitated on the occasion by the Spinners and Weavers Association President.

Khadi Gramodyog Board President Yalovalli N.Ramesh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jayavibhava Swamy and Khadi Gramodyog Commission Southern Region Member Chandramouli, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Guruprasanna and Khadi Board Mysuru District Member Latha Mohan, officials and staff were present.
