Bengaluru:  Customs Department sleuths have seized gold worth Rs. 11.57 lakh from a Kodagu resident who arrived from Bahrain at the Kempegowda International Airport Limited (KIAL) at Devanahalli in Bengaluru. The gold was hidden in his trousers.

The accused is 50-year-old Kottambadi Ahmed Latheef, a resident of Hodavada village in Kodagu. He was travelling from Bahrain to India and landed at KIAL on the morning of Sept. 6.
