Kodava boy excels in National, State-level entrance exams

Mysore/Mysuru: Kodava boy Tathanda Gautham, a student of Sri Chaitanya Techno School, Bengaluru, has secured remarkable results in several prestigious National and State-level entrance examinations.

Gautham achieved an impressive All India Rank of 210 in the JEE Advanced 2024, clinched the top position with All India Rank 1 in the Indian Statistical Institute entrance exam 2024, and secured 32nd Rank in the Common Entrance Test (CET) for Engineering.

Additionally, he obtained the 30th rank in CET for B.Sc Agriculture and 72nd in CET for B-Pharma in Karnataka State.

The JEE Advanced is a highly competitive exam for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

His academic journey was supported by coaching from Sri Chaitanya Techno School where dedicated teachers guided him through the rigorous preparation process. Gautham adhered to a strict daily routine, allocating time for all subjects, revising theory and practising problems consistently.

Gautham plans to join the Bachelor of Science (Research) programme at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) Bengaluru, where he aims to pursue a career in research and Pure Sciences. IISc., is one of the most esteemed research institutions in the country.

Hailing from Kukloor village near Virajpet, Kodagu, presently Gautham resides in Bengaluru with his parents — Tathanda Vikram Bheemaiah and Dechamma (Monnanda).

He is the grandson of Tathanda Bheemaiah and late Sharada Bheemaiah, who is settled in Vijayanagar First Stage, Mysuru and Monnannda Ponnappa and Ravi Ponnappa couple, also of Kukloor village.
